Site Search for the 2nd Extensive Reading World Congress

The Extensive Reading Foundation is seeking a site partner for the next World Congress to be held at a time convenient to the local hosting institution in the year 2013. The basic site requirements are listed below.

Basic Site Requirements:

* At least eight rooms within a single building are required for concurrent sessions that can be (or are) equipped with data projectors and computers. Internet access in some of the rooms is desirable.
* An auditorium capable of seating 400-500 people, or whatever the projected capacity of the Congress might be. The auditorium must have Internet access and a projection system.
* An exhibition area nearby the presentation and/or plenary session rooms sufficiently large to accommodate the projected number of exhibitors.
* Hotel space nearby that would be affordable to both local nationals and other international colleagues.
* Convenient access to local and international transport.
* A sufficient number of people locally to help with arrangements and staffing during the Congress
* The Congress should be held during a period that will maximize the potential number of local and international attendees.
